Personal Development Challenge of the week

What are the first thoughts that come into your head when you wake up?  Are they negative such as I don’t want to get up, I can’t believe I have to go to work, I can’t function without my coffee, or any other negative thing you can think of?  Keep a notepad by your bed and for this week write down the first thing/thoughts that comes to your mind.  Get in the habit OF RECORDING this down.  Physically write it so you will remember it (amazing how we forget a dream right after we just had it) and also so you can reference back to it when you review your thoughts for the whole week.

Challenge:

1) write down your first thoughts immediately when you wake up, no delay for at least one week (7 days)

2)At the end of the week tally up your score and see what your thoughts are Negative Vs. Positive who is winning?

3)If it is a negative comment re-write the comment to a positive tone: such as old saying “man why do I have to go to work so early” to “I don’t have to go to work, I get to and choose to go to work. I am blessed in having this job while I find my true passion and purpose.”

EXTRA CREDIT: Keep this up for a month and see the changes in your thoughts and how your days actually become much more happier and fulfilling.

When you start to change the way you look at things, the things you look at will change.  To have a better experience it’s not about changing the experience it’s about changing the perception and attitude.  Have you ever been around someone that no matter what they got (even if it’s what they wanted) it’s not good enough.  Don’t let the situations control how your day will turn out.  Only YOU will decide how your day will be.  LIVE PURPOSEFULLY and you will become HAPPIER!

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is magnificent blog. A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.
