It is my life mission to help others reach for more; to understand their true amazingness as they were created. To serve those who are wanting to find their true potential and unlimited life. To keep learning from my mistakes and doing my best each moment, as I work on being an example rather than just by spoken word. To keep learning and making a difference in each person’s life I come in contact with. And lastly to keep looking for the things I am wanting out of life and not settling for just “getting by” or “surviving”.
I graduated college with a business degree and a focus on marketing. After a few years behind a desk, I was questioning where my true passion for life was. Taking a deeper look and asking myself where I truly wanted to be to make a difference. I always had known my life purpose was serving and helping, and so I went into a fitness profession getting certified as a personal trainer.
Playing ice hockey for most of my life and in college; I knew I was good at working out, discipline, and setting and reaching goals and dreams. I stepped into the fitness industry looking how I could help people achieve what they were wanting in their physical realm. I was successful, but I wanted more than just helping people work on their physical appearance. The problems in working only on the physical self is people would slip back into old habits and lose ground on the progress they had made. Stemming from a curious mind, an interest in habits, and the inner workings of people’s minds I knew I could reach and help others better if I could work on their mind and not just their body.
I saw people were telling stories of their lives that weren’t working. I decided to start pursuing a certification in life coaching to help people start telling a different story. The thing I see most with others and including me is we always have a choice to either focus on the things, ideas, goals we want in our life… or where most people are currently stuck in focusing on the things they don’t want. I help people develop one of the most important and neglected relationships we encounter today, the relationship with self. Our lives are puzzles waiting to be pieced together, waiting to be created the way we dream, and I help those who have forgotten, don’t believe anymore, or just know there is so much more to life- reach their truest most authentic self by focusing exactly on what they want-to create a life they love.
